Sandra Lee Stewart, age 77, of Maitland, Florida passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 surrounded by her family. Sandra was born on June 12, 1945 in Corning, NY to the late Clayton and Marian Woodard. She was taken in and cared for as an infant by her parents, Raymond and Stella Robinson. Sandra had a strong relationship with God and a bond of everlasting love with her lifelong partner, her husband, Harold.
Family was the most important passion for her, with three sons and their wives, Tom and Pennie, Paul and Gina, and Craig and Angela. She was also a grandmother to seven grandchildren, Elizabeth (Lauren Washburn) Stewart, Scott (Mary) Stewart, Stephen (Lauren) Stewart, Shawn (Stephanie) Stewart, Sarah Stewart, Darien Stewart and Ashley (Zachary) Westberry. She was a great grandmother to Jameson Stewart, Blake Stewart, Sophia Stewart and Ainsley Westberry. She is also survived by her sister Dorothy Crow. She is preceded by her sisters, Viola Moshier and Sharon Hill and brother, Paul Woodard.
Sandra had a strong relationship with her mother Stella and had many similar qualities, including her strength and devotion to God. It was also important for her to stay close to her sisters Viola and Dorothy, and her many nieces and nephews.
Her pride and joy was knowing that her family was happy and healthy and she spent countless hours creating memory books for every family member, including all of life's milestones, and kept up with them year after year. The legacy of her love will be shared with all future generations.
The deep love between Harold and Sandy was easy to see. Beginning with their first date in high school, they knew they were meant for each other. Their strength together took them through the ups and downs of life, and they were the best example of devoted husband and wife for all to see. They enjoyed sunsets, boating, car rides, angels and the simple things in life together.
Private Services will be held by the family.
