PAlme, Scott Josef- Passed away on April 28, 2008 after a lengthy battle with heart disease. Scott was born November 30, 1958 in Royal Oak, MI to Josef Frank Palme, with whom Scott is now in heaven, and Barbara June Palme, of Kalamazoo, MI, who survives. He grew up attending Birmingham (MI) public schools, along with his brother, Craig (Dolores) Palme, of Chesterfield Twp, MI and Gayle (Roger) Finder, of Portage, MI, who also survive. Scott loved to pursue his passions "of the moment" and graduated from Ernest W. Seaholm High School in 1976. He continued his education at Central Michigan University (Mt. Pleasant, MI), earning his Bachelor's degree in 1982. For the next five years he traveled the country, discovering a love for the mountains from Colorado to Alaska. He eventually settled in Orlando, FL where he met his wife, Beth (nee Elizabeth Vance) of Texarkana, TX, who survives. During their marriage, Beth discovered Scott's quick wit and sense of humor, his love for bowling, the ocean waves and body surfing, his way of a putting positive slant on the down times, but most of all his joy of singing, not only in the church choir, but karaoke as well. Scott would sing his favorite song, somehow knowing it would summarize his life, "Go Rest High on That Mountain; Son Your Work on Earth is Done".
