Shamandra passed away at the age of 61 on February 26, 2022. He fought a long and arduous battle with cancer. He was the kind of man who didn't want to worry or burden his family, enduring his pain in silence and driving himself to chemo appointments.
Shamandra's only request from us was a good home-cooked meal and quality time with his family. As a business owner and chef, other restaurants couldn't come close to his cooking or his wife's. He enjoyed the good outdoors, road tripping in a RV with his family and dogs. He is a giving man, who made lasting relationships with his customers and anyone he encountered.
Shamandra is survived by his wife, Ruth, his two children, Shehani and Rukshan, his grandson, Noah James, and his two fur-babie
