Sherris M Marsell

March 31, 1938 — June 3, 2023

In loving memory of Sherris Mousley Marsell
1938-2023
Sherris M Marsell of Winter Springs, Florida peacefully went to her Heavenly home on June 3, 2023.

Sherris (Sherry) was also known as "Tita" and Ms Mimi. She was a magnificent artist her entire life, creating treasures in a multitude of media types including ceramics, painting, drawing, crocheting, jewelry making, beading, etc. She was proud of the fact that she was one of the first CZT, a Certified Zintangle Teacher.
She was also a face painter that brought joy to children from all over the world. Many people are blessed to own a piece of her beloved artwork. Sherris taught the children of Zellwood, Florida how to play the piano and organ.

Sherris never quit learning new types of artwork in which she would add her own twist. The last few years, she would sit in her "art chair" doing one type of artwork while taking lessons online for a completely different kind. She loved to travel, especially to Colorado, New Mexico, Alaska and our National Parks. She loved her
pets, animals, birdwatching, Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive, playing games on her iPad, the beach, teaching and learning.

Sherris was the only child of John and Margie Mousley. Born on March 31, 1938 in Kansas City, she moved with her family to Memphis, Tennessee where she attended middle and early high school. She moved to Florida with her
Grandparents and graduated from Eustis High School in 1956, a time in her life that she always cherished. She attended several high school reunions and has kept in touch with many of her beloved classmates to this day. She lived in Zellwood, Florida until 1977 when she moved to Winter Springs, Florida.

Sherris is survived by her son Steve and his wife Flor of Costa Rica, daughter Laurie of Winter Springs, Florida, grandson Brandon and his wife Sophia of Merritt Island, Florida, grandson Stuart and his wife Yahaira of Texas, granddaughter Melanie of Mexico City, Mexico. Three great-grandchildren Sagan, Darwin and Jaxon. And her beloved Pomeranian, Inkie.

Instead of flowers, contributions can be made in her name to:
