Shirley Marie Perate

Shirley Chandler Perate, 76, of Winter Park died September 13, 2008. She worked for the US Navy Exchange for 29 years. Survivors include her husband of 21 years, Frank Perate, USN RET; one son Jeffrey Welshans of Orlando; four daughters Karen Masters (David) of Columbia, SC; Sharon Hair (Donny) of Orlando; Marlene Austin (Ron) of Glen Allen, VA Carolyn Welshans of Oklahoma; 3 step-daughters Naomi Caraccilo of Altoona, PA; Mary Perate of Redlands, California; Delores Mynatt (Steve) of Felton, Delaware; sister Pamela L. Defoe of St. Augustine, Florida; brother in law Norman Perate of Redding, Pennsylvania; 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. They family will receive friends at Newcomer Funeral Home, Orlando from 11AM-12PM Tuesday, September 16. A Graveside service will follow at 12:30PM at Chapel Hill Cemetery, Orlando.
