Today we honor the home coming/home going of Shirley Ann Ramos(Thompson)(Phillips)
Stargazer; Shirley's Indian given name; was born on May 7, 1949 to Samuel and Jessie Phillips.
She grew up in Harlem, New York the eldest sister to David, Samuel, and Richard Phillips and Linda Albury.

As a child, Shirley performed on numerous television shows, talent shows, pageants and on stage. As a teenager she continued her love of the arts through painting. Shirley dated and later married Frederick E Thompson in 1966. After having four children they moved to Copiague, Long Island in 1976. They divorced in 1984 and Shirley remained in Copiague with their four children.

Shirley remarried in 1989 to Ruben Ramos. She displayed her art work every February for Black History Month in the Copiague Library. They lived in Copiague, Long Island until moving to Orlando, Florida in 2020. She just celebrated her 72nd Birthday on May 7, 2021 with family and friends.

Shirley Ann Ramos leaves behind her brothers David and Richard Phillips; Her four children Shirley A. Timberlake, Frederick E. Thompson, Samantha J. Thompson, and Bryan S. Thompson and 10 grandchildren; Jessika M Morales, Bernard Timberlake III, Inez Thompson, Quincey L., Aaliyah K., and Chelsea R. Williams, Ranae A., Payton M., Emmitt S., and Tianna M. Lyles.
