Mr. Sidney V. Wright, Jr., age 89, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 4, 2019 in Lake Mary, Florida. Sidney was born on December 31, 1929 in Boston, Massachusetts to Sidney V. Wright, Sr. and Jennie (Munro) Wright.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, July 8, 2019 at Village on the Green, 500 Village Pl, Longwood, FL 32779.
Sidney proudly served his country for over 20 years in the United States Navy and retired as a Captain. He will be interred in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
He is survived by his loving wife, Peggy Wright; daughter, Melani W. Bayless (Daniel R. Bayless); daughter, Kimberli W. Thomas (Jim L. Thomas); granddaughter, Heather Bayless; great-granddaughter, Sydney Davis; great-grandson, Jordan Davis; brother, Robert Wright (Rita Wright); and many friends, all who will miss him dearly.
