Sondra Roberta Goldfarb

August 13, 1934 — October 23, 2023

Mrs. Sondra R. Goldfarb died on October 23, 2023. She was born on August 13, 1934 in New York, New York To Louis and Nettie (Cooperman) Resnick.

After meeting the love of her life, Alfred 'Allie' Goldfarb at a club and falling head over heels in love that evening, she married him on April 4, 1954. They had two children Robert and Nadine. Too soon into their lives together, Alfred would pass away suddenly. Sandy never remarried and would often speak fondly about her husband, wishing only to be with him.

Sandy was a hard working single mother at a time when that wasn't very easy. She raised her children on her own and sacrificed much for her family. Something she was used to as she lost her father very young and cared for her sick mother and her younger brother before meeting Allie. Of all of her jobs, her work at Atlantic Records was her favorite and most fun, she amassed an incredible set of 45s and there was always music in the house.

Sondra is survived by her Children, Robert Allen (Sheree Fox) Goldfarb of Winter Park, FL and Nadine (James) Davis of Baton Rouge, LA; Her Grandchildren, Justin Michael (Amanda) Goldfarb of Orlando, FL, Alex Jon (Lindsey) Goldfarb of Winter Park, FL, Jessica Rachel (Brian) Fluker of Winter Springs, FL, Allie Alyssa (Corey) Bryant of Casselberry, FL, and Shana Morgan (Christopher) Winter of St. Louis, MO; her Great Grandchildren Revan Ashe Goldfarb of Orlando, FL, Sophie Rose Fluker of Winter Springs, FL and Henry Robert Goldfarb of Winter Park, FL; and Her Brother Joel (Rose Plewa) Resnick of Lady Lake, FL. In addition, Sondra had gained an army of Bonus Family members, Ryan (Jenn) Fox and Shanda (Will) Ziacoma and their children Moriah, Liam, and Amzie Ziacoma, as well as her Step Great Grandson Noah Bryant. She will also be deeply missed and remembered by her constant companion and beloved friend, her dog, Bear, who will receive innumerably less treats now. Sondra had many relatives and friends besides, who were all beloved and thought of by her daily.

Sondra is predeceased by her Parents, Louis and Nettie Resnick and her beloved Husband, Alfred "Allie" Goldfarb.

She will be so missed.

A traditional Jewish Graveside service will take place at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge, NJ on Thursday, October 26th at 2:00pm. Rabbi Dennis Tobin will preside.

Sondra requested that in the traditional Jewish custom, no flowers be sent to the family. She instead asks that you donate to a charity of your choice in her honor, but no democrats.

Thank you for being so inviting and lovely to her, she was truly one of a kind.
