Stanley C. Wroblewski

November 8, 1923 — February 15, 2021

Stanley C. Wroblewski passed peacefully of natural causes at the age of 97 on February 15, 2021.

Stanley, a World War II veteran, was born in Paris, NY and later moved from Utica to Brooklyn, where he graduated from Brooklyn Tech High School and after the war he graduated with an engineering degree from Pratt Institute. During his Brooklyn days he was huge fan of the the famous Brooklyn Dodgers. He later met his wife Margaret of 61 years and moved to Commack to be in the suburbs to raise their growing family. On Long Island, Stanley enjoyed a long career working as an engineer at Grumman Aerospace Corporation, where he worked on the Apollo space program and the F14 Tomcat program. After he retired from Grumman, he relocated with his wife to Orlando, Florida. As an avid football and baseball fan, he continued to support his NY teams: the Jets and Mets.

He is survived by his wife Margaret, his five children Lisa, June, Stan, John, and Robert; four grandchildren Julian, Anja, Julia, and Patrick.

Post Covid he will be laid to rest as a veteran at Calverton National Cemetery
