Stephen John Jegel

Mr. Stephen John Jegel died on Friday, September 28th, 2007. He was born on September 6th, 1945 in St. Louis, MO. He served in the Army military police during the Vietnam war. August 8th, 2007 marked the twentieth anniversary of his sobriety. He lived by the Serenity prayer and took one day at a time. He is survived by his loving wife Michelle of Orlando, FL; daughter Heather Jegel (Koo) of Chang Mai, Thailand; daughter Kimberly Jegel of Philadelphia, Pa, and son Matthew Jegel of Gainesville, FL. He is also survived by his brother Roger Vonland of Davenport, Florida. He enjoyed gardening, photography, and keeping in touch with friends and family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center Division of Head and Neck Cancer Research. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 2nd, 2007 at 6pm at Newcomer Family Funeral Home, East Orlando Chapel.
