Stephen (Steve) Roy Thomas, 50, of Sanford, Florida, tragically passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2016. Born in Winter Park, Florida to Roy Otis Thomas and Anna Marie Thomas (Gazzea), he lived most of his life in Longwood, Florida.
Steve is survived by daughter Amanda (Anthony) Farsaci , son Travis Thomas, stepson Justin (Courtney) Mauldin, grandsons Nicholas and Joseph Farsaci, stepmother Karen Thomas, grandmother Zellie Thomas, sister Sandy (Steve) Pacetelli, niece Brianna Pacetelli, stepbrothers Danny, Bruce (Dawn) and David Beck, and many loving aunts and uncles, and extended family and friends. Steve was a loving father, grandfather, brother, nephew, grandson, cousin, and friend to all.
Steve was a free spirit and enjoyed doing anything outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was a kind man with the biggest heart and was always there to help anyone who needed him. Steve could always be counted on for a contagious smile and a good time.

A time of gathering will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. for visitation at Newcomer Funeral Home, 335 East State Road 434 Longwood, FL 32750 on Saturday July 23. Funeral services will immediately follow visitation at 3:00 p.m., Pastor George Sledd of Jordan Baptist Church in Sanford, Florida, will be officiating. Steve will be laid to rest at Longwood Memorial Gardens in Longwood, Florida.
