Stewart Davis Bryant, age 34, of Orlando, FL passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 after complications from chronic kidney disease.
Stewart was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, relocated with his family to Central Florida in 1991 and attended Florida State University. He became a Christian as a young boy and always gave glory to God for his many blessings. Stewart was involved in a variety of activities throughout his life including basketball, lacrosse and weight training – always putting 100% effort into his new pursuits.
Stewart always had an entrepreneurial spirit and used those skills along with his interest in athletic shoes to create SoleGuard, a product he trademarked in 2013. Further identifying an opportunity in the rare athletic shoe marketplace, he opened Sneaker Syndicate in 2014 which he operated from multiple locations in Orlando. Always seeking to grow, he rebranded the business to STATUS Orlando and expanded his product offerings to include apparel. Stewart had customers throughout the world that would come to him as the recognized source for the most sought-after athletic shoes. Stewart had a zest for life, a gift of gab and never met a stranger.
He is survived by his father, Wyndell Bryant Sr., mother, Paulette S. Bryant, and brother, Wyn Bryant.
Stewart was loved by his family and will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation or The Make A Wish Foundation of Central and Northern Florida.
For those that attend, rotation of 50 people or less will be required in the chapel. Family requests all guest wear masks.
