Susan Burton

Susan Marschine Burton, age 52 of Orlando passed away Saturday, Dec. 25, 2004. Born in Orlando, she was a lifelong resident. She worked at Conway Middle School and was a member of Discovery Church of Orlando. She volunteered countless hours with Habitat for Humanity, House of Hope and the Orlando Rescue Mission. Her hobbies included her love for cooking, sewing, playing volleyball and playing the piano.
She is survived by her son, Jamie D. Burton of Orlando; daughters, Julie B. Burton-Hearn and her husband, Daniel of Orlando and Hollie K. Maule and her husband, Garrett of Orlando; grandson, Colby G. Maule of Orlando; mother, Betty L. Spear of Orlando; brother, Mike Spear of Groveland; sister, Cindy D. Spear of Orlando and her father, Floyd W. Spear of Spruce Pine, N.C.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004 in the Newcomer Family Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Paul Valo officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Orlando. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 7:30-9:00 PM. Arrangements entrusted to NEWCOMER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 895 S.
