Susan Alice Collins, age 64, of West Palm Beach, Florida passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 10, 2018 following a courageous battle against cancer.
Born in Hollywood, Florida on June 12, 1953, Susan graduated from South Broward High School in 1971. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from Florida Atlantic University in 1975. Susan was a dedicated math teacher at John I. Leonard High School for 33 years where she also coached swimming and sponsored various clubs. She attended Holy Name of Jesus Church and served as an Eucharistic Minister. She loved the beach, boating, and traveling with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Lee Spahn. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Ronald Collins; daughters, Amy Collins-Brenner and Kelly Dale; son, Brian Collins; granddaughters, Kacy Dale, Tiffany Dale, and Romy Collins; sisters, Beverly Hill, Patricia Goss, and Kathleen Zolad; and brother, Michael Spahn.
Memorial services will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 345 S Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida 33415.
