Syrina Maria Sullivan (Duarte) a long-time resident of Casselberry, Florida was called home to be with the Lord on June 17, 2024.

Syrina is survived by her husband, Dennis Sullivan of 42 years, her only Daughter, Tiffany Velez, and her son-in-law Juan Velez, her 5 grandchildren Xavier Cortes, Nyalise Santiago, Jacob Velez, Brenden Velez, and Davian Velez. Her sister Lanete Schoff, her brother-in-law Brian Schoff, and her niece/goddaughter Brianna Schoff. She is predeceased by her mother Lorraine Cardin and her grandparents Henrietta and Alphonse Cardin.

Syrina was born in Eloy, Arizona on October 1, 1965, to Lorraine Cardin and Ralph Duarte. She then relocated to Dover, New Hampshire with her mother, and spent her youth there where she went on to graduate from Southern New Hampshire University for Nurses Assistant. She also spent some of her career geared toward the hospitality field. She met the love of her life and her lifelong partner and shortly after they had their only daughter. After many years together they were wedded on July 1, 2000.

Syrina was a devoted wife, daughter, sister, mother and grandmother. She had an undying love for music, coffee, horror films, and makeup. Her favorite holidays were Halloween and Thanksgiving. Her family meant everything to her, she was a very attentive grandmother to all her grandkids. She loved to travel, take road trips, sing karaoke, and go to the beach or the races. Her favorite beach was Daytona. She was a mother to everyone she came in touch with, she would help everyone, and she always tried to keep you smiling. She was a God-fearing, spiritual woman. Her personality was addictive as she was a life of the party, energetic, social butterfly. She had a smile that could light a room up.
