Born to Patsy Jean and Roger Neal Pearson and was raised in Oklahoma. The oldest sister of Renee, Michelle, Joe and Mitzi. Teresa graduated from Bixby High School in 1976. Her first son, Eric, was born in 1977.
Teresa moved to Colorado in 1984 where her daughter, Casey, was born in 1985 and her youngest son, Grant, was born in 1988. In the foothills of the Rocky Mountains she enjoyed fishing and camping with her family and dog. She was always an active and athletic person who could do just about anything she set her mind to.
The family moved to Florida in 1991 and lived in Altamonte Springs. She enjoyed spending time on the beach, in the Keys, and the inland springs and waterways. The family would often go canoeing at Wekiva Springs and go boating at Bear Lake and Lake Brantley. She was a great supporter of her children's academic and athletic activities, spending most weekends cheering on her kids at their games. From t-ball and pee-wee football through high school and college lacrosse, Teresa never missed an opportunity to cheer on her kids.
The family moved to Missouri in 2005 and then moved back to Florida in 2008.
Teresa was married to Paul Pipitone on October 10, 2010. Teresa and Paul worked closely with area dog rescues together, and enjoyed spending time with their dogs, family, and friends.
Teresa passed away due to complications of advanced metastatic cancer and pneumonia around noon on April 25, 2012. A service will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home in Orlando, Florida on Sunday, May, 6th, 2012 at 11:00 am. A celebration of life will be held the same day at 2:00 pm at Hurricane Grill & Wings in Longwood, Florida.
The ashes of her remains will be spread into the Atlantic Ocean by her family off the coast of New Smyrna near the dog beach that she enjoyed with her dogs and family.
The family has requested that, in leu of flowers, a donation be made to; "The Casey Foote Fund" at any Fairwinds Credit Union. This is a fund that was set up prior to Teresa's death, to assist Teresa and her family with the medical expenses and now burial expenses.
Teresa is survived by her husband; Paul Pipitone, her children; Eric Dickerson, Casey Foote, and Grant Dickerson, her father; Roger Pearson, her siblings; Michelle Tucker, Joe Pearson, and Mitzi Sheppard; as well as her nieces and nephews.
