Teresa Alison Coward

Teresa Alison Coward, age 43, of Orlando, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2020 at Health Central Hospital in Ocoee, FL.

Teresa was born on September 26, 1976 in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands, to parents Emily Lake and the late Harold Ansel Coward.

Teresa was an avid reader of urban novels. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends. Teresa graduated with her Master's Degree in Business Management. Teresa was a fun-loving, high spirited, generous individual who worked hard and played harder.

Teresa is survived by her mother, Emily Lake of Orlando; five brothers, Wayne Benjamin and his wife, Lois, of Winter Haven, Vernon Benjamin and his wife, Terra, of St. Thomas, VI, Gregory Anthony Coward and his wife, Simbi, of St. Thomas, VI, Marlon Coward of Trinidad, West Indies, and Jamil Hackett and his wife, Yasmin, of Orlando; six sisters, Anesta Benjamin Salam and her husband, Mukhan, of Orlando, Jane Benjamin of Orlando, Janice Benjamin Edwards and her husband, Rodney, of Freemansburg, PA, Marsha Coward of St. Thomas, VI, Devon Coward of Orlando, and Denise Coward of Baltimore, MD; many aunts and uncles, several cousins, and numerous friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 12:00 Noon at Faith Assembly of God, 9307 Curry Ford Road, Orlando, FL 32825 with Pastor Paul Patrick, officiating.

Visitation with the family will precede the service from 11:00 am to 12:00 Noon.

Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Orlando, FL.
