Teresa Lynn Serafini

March 19, 1957 — November 3, 2020

Teresa "Terri" Lynn Serafini, 63, of Bithlo Florida, passed away at her home on Tuesday November 3rd, 2020. Terri was born on March 19th, 1957 in Charleston, West Virginia. She was the daughter of Franklin and Janet Montague and is the oldest of four children. Terri was a majorette at Wilson Junior High School and Stonewall Jackson High School. She graduated in 1975 and was in the National Honors Society. After high school Terri was employed by the Charleston Daily Mail. She then moved to Florida in the early 80's. Throughout the next few years she worked in the restaurant industry and then was employed by the Fort Pierce News Tribune. After having her first born, Angel, she moved to Orlando in 1988. Terri went to vocational school in 1990 to receive her certification as a medical lab assistant. Afterwards she worked at Orlando Regional Medical Center in the pathology department. In 1993, after having her second child Jason, Terri moved to the Bithlo area. She spent the rest of her life in this that town she loved and called home. Here is where she had been known for being a jack of all trades. Her final employment, of over 10 years, was working the early hours at the McDonald's in Bithlo, which gave her a lot of purpose and joy.

Terri was intelligent, witty, and had an amazing sense of humor. She had an incredible ability to think outside the box and was extremely innovative. She was crafty, artistic, found joy in making collages for her loved ones, and had a knack for making old things new again. Terri's favorite holiday was Halloween, and she loved her Steven King books and horror flicks. She found comfort in listening to her records such as Queen, Bread, and James Taylor, watching movies of all kinds, game shows and being with her children. Saturday cartoons were always a favorite to her. Terri will be remembered for her silly nature and fun-loving dancing. She absolutely loved to laugh and play. She had a passion for animals, from the creepy crawlers to the fluffy ones. She was loyal to her hometown and pets. Terri would give you the shirt off of her back. She never wanted anyone to take care of her, but she was always asking what she could do for you.

Terri is predeceased by her father Franklin Montague and survived by her daughter Angel Serafini, son Jason Montague, daughter in-law Lauren Montague, mother Janet Hager, siblings Cynthia Ost, Patty King, and David Montague, niece and nephews Adam King, Cory Montague, Chase Montague, Zachary Ost, and Cassidy Ost, and her precious kitty cat Stash.

The memorial service will be held at the Trinity Assembly of God Church located at 125 Trinity Assembly Circle, Chuluota, FL 32766 from 11am to 1pm on November 21st, 2020.
