Terry Ray Mccamie

December 23, 1948 — December 18, 2022

On December 18, 2022, Terry left this earthly life and went to be with his Savior, joining his parents and sister. He was born December 23, 1948 in Augusta, GA to Carl and Alma McCamie. Six years later, he was joined by his sister, Carlene. He graduated from Kissimmee High School in 1966 and from the University of Florida in 1971.

Terry was a beloved husband, father, uncle and Popi. He is survived by his wife of 45 1/2 years, Joanne, his three children, Josh, Zac and Stacie, his 6 grandchildren, Anisah, Walter (Nicco), Cali, Terry (TR), Noah and Leilani, and his nephews Chris and Michael.

He loved tennis, water skiing, fast cars and Gator football. He instilled a love of Dairy Queen ice cream in all his grandchildren and his pets were some of his best friends. The many years he spent coaching and mentoring his children and others was a source of great joy. But, he was most proud of his own children. They were his pride and joy.

Although he was proud to be a founding member of the Grumpy Old Man Club, he will mostly be remembered for his deep love for family and friends, a man who would go above and beyond to help a friend.

While he will be missed here on earth, we know he is walking the streets of gold in heaven.
