Theresa Fitzsimmons, 71, died July 28, 2011, with her family by her side in Geneva, Fl.
A memorial service will held Friday, August 12, at All Saints cemetery in Wilmington, De.
She was born October 31, 1939, in Philadelphia, Pa., to Hugh and Theresa MacDonald. Theresa retired from Bell Atlantic in 1998 and subsequently moved to Florida where she formed many great friendships. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and worked with various charities. Her interests included family, travelling, and reading.
Mrs. Fitzsimmons was predeceased by Leslie Baptiste, her first husband, in 1967, and by her parents. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, John Fitzsimmons; sons John Baptiste (Solita), Geneva, FL., and Mike Baptiste (Kim), Lewes, DE.; sister, Louise Beattie (Frank), Bear, DE.; grandchildren Shawna, Emily, Madeline and Zach; nieces and nephews.
Donations may be sent to St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
