Thomas Wong

Thomas Wong, 78, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on August 30, 2023. Born in Kingston, Jamaica on September 5, 1944, Thomas attended both English and Chinese schools and became a successful sales representative for a cosmetics company. In 1980, he and his family moved to Orlando where he resided for the past 43 years and was employed in several positions in the hospitality industry.

Thomas is predeceased by his son, Dominic; brothers, Albert, George, and eldest brother in China; parents, Peter and Eva; and is survived by his daughter, Giana; former spouse, Marie; brother, Patrick; and grandchildren, Nathaniel, Penelope, Collin, and Juliana.

Thomas had the personality and natural charisma to make friends wherever he went, many of whom became lifelong friends. As a "professional cruiser," he looked forward to his many excursions aboard the latest state-of-the-art ocean liners to visit distant lands amid the camaraderie he fostered over the years. He also enjoyed a good game of mahjong and relaxing with friends and family. Thomas will always be remembered for his giving nature, welcoming sense of humor, and lightheartedness he exuded among all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
