Timothy J. Welter

Tim Welter, age 68, of Orlando, FL, passed away November 14, 2015 at Hospice of the Comforter, Altamonte Springs, FL, with his wife, Wanda by his side.

Tim was born in Evanston, IL and grew up in Winter Garden, Fl. He graduated from Evans High School and UCF (formerly FTU) in 1977 with a BS in Accounting.

Tim retired from the City of Orlando as Fiscal Manager for the Orlando Police Department in 2007.

Tim is predeceased by his parents Joseph and Jacqueline Welter and sister-in-law Elaine Rathel.

Tim is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Wanda Thomas Welter, sister Jill Preston (Tony) Ocoee, FL, brother Randy Welter (Chris) Robert, LA., sister and brothers-in-law Alicia and Rich Schou and Michael Rathel.

Also surviving are nieces and nephews Bobby, Michael, Kevin and Jackie Buchan, Randall Welter, Dawn McFerrin, Kelly Mastin, Kevin Rathel, Karen McCreless, Rich and Brien Schou. He is also survived by life-long friend Earl Buchan.

There will be a visitation at 2:PM and the service at 3:00 PM, November 23, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 335 E. State Rd. 434, Longwood, FL.
