Tina M. Dover

January 1, 1956 — January 29, 2024

In loving memory of Tina Marie Sanborn Dover, a cherished wife, mother, Nana, sister, aunt, and friend, who passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024. She is survived by her devoted husband, Billy G. Dover Jr., and leaves behind a lasting legacy through her three children: Lillian Sexton (Scott Sexton), Idamarie Dover, and William Dover (Jamie Dover). Tina's love extended to her five adoring grandchildren, Chloe, Chase, and Caleb Sexton, as well as, Kinley and Vivian Dover.

She is also remembered by her siblings, Grady Sanborn (Cathy Sanborn), and Lisa Burner (Alan Burner), along with sister-in-law Sandy Sanborn (Steve Sanborn). Tina was preceded in death by her parents, Sumner and Mary Helen Sanborn (nee Law), and her dear brother, Steve Sanborn.

Tina is also survived by her loyal canine companions, Sweetie and Rookie, who brought her boundless joy and companionship in her life.

Tina's unwavering faith was a cornerstone of her life, as she was a dedicated member of First Baptist Church of Winter Park, actively participating in various church ministries, including Vacation Bible School. Her greatest joys included spending time with her grandchildren, pampering her beloved granddog, LittleBit, and passionately sewing quilts for Project Linus and Quilts of Valor.

Tina's warmth, love, and generosity touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered as a loving soul who made this world a better place.

***As tribute, the family requests guests to wear blue or something blue, as that was Tina's favorite color.***
