Trelion "T.J." McKenzie Jr., age 77, of Orlando, FL passed away Monday February 27, 2017.
He was born on March 11, 1939 in Manning, SC to the late Trelion and Almyrta McKenzie.
T.J. is survived by his wife, Linda S. McKenzie; children, Sharon M. Bruce, Eric McKenzie, Claire J. Peters, and Michelle K. McKenzie; 6 grandchildren; and siblings, Gerald McKenzie, Franklin McKenzie, Roy McKenzie, Eris Wannamaker, and Julia Lee.
T.J. was a retired US Navy veteran with 28 years of service. He also served for 13 years and retired from the Orange County Sheriff's office. He enjoyed golf and ballroom dancing.
Visitation is Tuesday March 7, 2017 from 10am to 11am with funeral service starting at 11am at the Newcomer Funeral Home (East Orlando Chapel).
Graveside committal will follow at 1:30pm at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
