Verna Brannan

Verna Brannan, age 94, passed away peacefully surrounded by members of her loving family on Friday April 30, 2021, at her home in Orlando. She was born July 15, 1926, in Kalamazoo, MI.
Verna touched the lives of many through being an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile, and Sojourners Camp Followers. Later in her life she converted to Catholicism and was confirmed at age 92.
She is survived by her daughters, Joyce, Kathy (Neil), Mary Joe(Mike), and Jackie (Mark), eight grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and four great-great- grandchildren. She remained an important person to many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, George Brannan.
Visitation will be held from 6:00pm - 8:00pm, Thursday, May 6 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions located at 895 S. Goldenrod Road. A Mass will be held at 11am, Friday, May 7 at Good Shephard Catholic Church, 5900 Oleander Dr. Orlando. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Orlando.
