Veronica J. Rand- Eternal rest was granted to Veronica J. Rand of Oviedo, Florida. She was born and educated in Watervliet, New York and lived the majority of her life in the Capital District. She was the daughter of the late Roman and Julia (Grzybowski) Zyglewicz. Her husband Michael preceded her to the next life.
She is survived by her son Bruce and his wife Beth, three grandchildren, Jennifer and Marcus Stevens, Adam and Elizabeth Rand and two great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Allison Stevens.
A funeral Mass was held on 17 January 2012 at Most Precious Blood Church in Oviedo, Florida. She was interred on 21 Januarey 2012 at St. Agnes Cemetery Mausoleum in Menands, New York. In lieu of flowers, donations to local hospice services would be greatly appreciated.
