Vickie was born on August 18, 1956 in Portsmouth, Virginia. She retired after 32 years from Children's Hospital of the Kings Daughters in Norfolk, Virginia. Vickie enjoyed fishing and was a pet lover, especially dogs. She was a people person and will be missed by all who knew her. She was of the Baptist Faith.
Vickie was preceded in death by her mother, Camilla (Williams) Cruze and is survived by her father, Jimmy Cruze; sister, Connie Sheridan; brother, Jimmy H. Cruze, Jr.; brother, Michael S. Cruze; sister, Michelle D. Brannon; sister-in-law, Susan M. Cruze; brother-in-law, William A. Brannon and nieces, Brittney R. Sheridan and Ashleigh N. Brannon.
