Victor Neil Richardson Jr. age 63, of Orlando, went to heaven on Monday, December 19, 2005. He was a fantastic husband, devoted father and grandpa - A man who lived for his family, and a large group of friends that he called his extended family.
Victor was born in Springfield, TN and raised in Nashville, TN.
He worked for Orlando Utilities commission from 1970 to 1999 when he retired. He was a high voltage cable splicer and training instructor. He was a 26 year kidney transplant survivor and a great support to patients with kidney disease. He was a community minded person, he coached little league baseball and football in the Orlando area.
Victor was a member of the Christian Motorcyclist's Association since 1994, a national organization that ministers to the motorcycle community. He served as a road captain, vice president, president and central Florida area rep of the central Florida chapter. He was also a member of the Orlando Harley Owners Group and ABATE of Orlando. Victor was a member of the Center Point Community Church of the Nazarene where he has been a member since 1971.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Donna Richardson, daughter Wautrelle Richardson, son Victor Richardson III, two grandchildren Victor Richardson IV and Chelsy Richardson, his sisters Carol Mahan of Nashville, TN, MaryBeth Elkins of Orlando and brothers Dr, Stephen Richardson of Cooksville, TN, and Cliff Hutchinson of Orlando.
Celebration service will be held at Center Point Community Church of the Nazarene, 9580 Curry Ford Rd. on Thursday, December 22, 2005. The viewing will begin at 6pm at the church followed by the service at 7pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Mr. Richardson to the Christian Motorcyclist's Association c/o Center Point Community Church of the Nazarene.
