Vigonia Regala

Vigonia Casanova Regala, age 94, of Altamonte Springs, Florida passed away peacefully at her home on October 18, 2023. Vigonia was born on November 14, 1928 in Casiguran, Quezon, Philippines to parents Adriano Casanova and Valentina Moral.

She is survived by her son Chito (Bing) Regala, and grandchildren Grenjen (John) and great grandchildren Caitlyn and Tyler; grandchildren Laarnie (Mon) and great grandchildren Lovely and Joycel; grandchildren Dreidel and Beverly (Levin); son George (Charo) Regala, and granddaughter Graceline (Sol) and great grandchildren Elia and Callan; daughter Glecy (Tom) Mueller and grandson Jay (Gisela) and great grandchildren Jaiden and Mason; grandson Ezekiel; daughters Gemma and Gina (Bong) and grandchildren Genesis, Gabbie and Marigrace; sons Jun Regala and Neil Regalado and her brother Derio.

Vigonia was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Florencio Regala; her son, Ricardo Regala; her sisters, Rosing Villaos and Nelia Austero, and her brother, Viyo Casanova.

Vigonia loved cooking, shopping, dancing and gardening. She graduated in Education but devoted her life as a housewife and as a stay home mother to her six children. She was an avid Manny Paquiao fan.

She had spiritual gifts of generosity and hospitality.
She received Christ as her Lord and Savior in the 80's and her sister, Rosing, was instrumental in bringing her to the Lord.


A viewing/visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Friday, October 27, 2023;
and from 9:00-10:00 AM on Saturday October 28, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations and Funerals, at 335 E SR 434, Longwood, FL 32750.
The Celebration of Life service will take place at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 28, 2023, also at Newcomer Cremations and Funerals.
Interment will follow at Oaklawn Park Cemetery, 4991 Co Rd 46A Lake Mary, FL 32746.
