VINCENT DEMAR STREET bravely fought the ravages of prostrate cancer for more than 15 years, hoping he would be able to overcome, but he was taken from this life very early on Monday, November 28. Vincent was born August 16, 1936 in Millsboro, Sussex County, Delaware. He attended school in Delaware and secondary school/college at Haskell Institute in Lawrence, Kansas where he was outstanding in football, being inducted into the Indian Football Hall of Fame in Lawrence. After moving to Florida, Vincent worked for Pan American World Services (a subsidiary of Pan AM World Airways) at Kennedy Space Center. After retirement from Pan Am in 1991, he pursued his passion of buying/selling/trading antiques, oriental rugs, old master paintings- just about anything to make an honest dollar. Vincent and Mary Ann Andrews married March 12, 1972 and still lived in the home they loved from the beginning of their marriage. Besides his wife, Mary Ann, Vincent is survived by a son, Everett of Orlando, a daughter Valarie of Stockton, CA, step-son Leonard Wayne Hanson of Brownwood, TX, step-son Royce Velton Andrews, Jr. of Loughman, FL, one grandson Royce Velton Andrews, III of Orlando and his wife Tracee. Also surviving are brothers, James Street and William Street (and their wives) of Millsboro, DE, one aunt, Delama Harmon of Millsboro, DE and several neices, nephews and cousins.
VINCENT LOVED THE FIRST BAPTIST CHIRCH OF ORLANDO.
