Virgil Pinkley Britton Sr, 88 of Orlando, Florida passed away on September 8, 2014.
Virgil was born on May 8, 1926 in Pinellas County, Florida to Thomas Britton and Ruby (Wiley) Bragg who have both preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Britton and his daughter, Linda Britton. Virgil was a Veteran of the United States Navy and served in World War II. He was retired from the Orange County, Florida Road Maintenance Department. Virgil loved country music, raising animals, farming and gardening. His favorite pastime was butterfly watching.
Virgil is survived by his daughters, Freda E. McNamee and Amanda O. Massie; sons, Robert J. Britton, Michael B. Britton and Virgil P. Britton, Jr.; 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
