Virginia Sierra

Virginia Miranda Sierra, age 92, of Altamonte Springs, passed away peacefully September 8, 2016. She was born June 4, 1924 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. On June 13, 1942 she married Samuel Valentine Sierra.
They left Puerto Rico and settled in New York City. After coming to New York Virginia realized a lifelong dream and received her High School Diploma. She then continued her studies a became a teachers aide helping other to become educated.
She is survived by her children Lidia Sierra Torres and Samuel Sierra Jr. She is also survived by her Grandson Roberto S. Torres and Granddaughter Zeena Martinez Sierra. She is predeceased by her husband Samuel Valentine Sierra, Father Nicolas Miranda and her Mother Leocadia Santo Rivera.
