Virginia Torres, age 76, of Winter Park, Florida passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2019.
Virginia, a very devout Catholic, was dedicated to praying the rosary on behalf of others in need. Known as a caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and godmother who loved her family dearly; she was a beautiful woman of integrity who felt the weight of the world's suffering while never losing her faith. We will always remember her sweet smile, as she waved goodbye at us from her window!
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her sister.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 7, 2019 at 11:30 am at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 375 Sunset Dr N, Casselberry, FL 32707.
Visitation will be on Thursday, June 6, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando, Florida 32822.
Interment will be in Glen Haven Memorial Park, Winter Park, FL.
