Walter David Burel, 72, of Orlando, Florida went to be with the Lord on January 28, 2024, after battling several ailments. He was born on September 5, 1951, in Ludlow, Massachusetts to William Jacob and Catherine Burel.
Walter was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who cherished his family. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Sandra Burel. Walter is survived by Diane, David, and Ann, and his three grandchildren, Dashiell, Dylan, and Declan. He also leaves behind his brother, Robert O'Brien.
Walter was a dedicated real estate agent who spent his entire career helping people find their perfect homes. His knowledge of real estate put people at ease in the process, and his understanding of the industry helped him as a broker and in new custom home sales. He loved his work and made many friends along the way.
Walter was a friendly, kind, and outgoing man with a warm heart. He enjoyed watching golf and spending time with his family and friends. He always supported his children's and grandchildren's endeavors and achievements. In particular, he always supported his kid's academic and athletic achievements both materially and with morale support. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of Walter's life will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Life Connection Church, 2550 S. Goldenrod Rd. Orlando, Florida 32822. The viewing will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by the service at 10:30 a.m. and lunch at noon.
The burial service will be at 2:00 p.m. at Riverview Gardens Cemetery, 3751 N. Cocoa Blvd. Florida 32926.
