Watson Bradley Wallace Jr. passed in peace on December 8th, 2019. He was 74.
Known by his family and friends as Brad (sometimes "Hot Shot"), he was an avid hunter. He spent his last days doing his favorite thing in his favorite place, on the hunting lease outside of Cuthbert, Georgia. He spent last 40+ years there, hunting with his friends and his son Jonathan.
Brad was born on January 17th, 1945 in Sanford, Florida to his parents Watson Bradley Wallace Sr. and Sarah Grace Wallace. He is the youngest of his siblings, Penelope Ann Daniel and Sarah Estelle Willis.
After Brad graduated from Seminole High School in 1963 he served in the National Guard Reserves for 6 years. He received a rank as an Sergeant and M14 marksman. When he completed his service he worked as a salesman at Sunniland Corporation for 44 years.
Brad was a wonderful father to his 3 children David (1970), Jonathan (1974), Rebecca (1980) and 3 step-children Cathy (1964), David (1968), and Marni (1971).
Brad had a good sense of humor, although not known by all. He was an "Old School" kind of guy when it came to respect and how to treat a lady.
He will be missed by many.
Brad is survived by his wife Jan, his 3 children, 3 step-children, 2 sisters and 9 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 18th at 5:00 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 335 E State Road 434, Longwood, Florida 32750, followed by a memorial service at 6:00.
