Wendy Lee Hocevar, age 64, of Casselberry, Florida passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021.
She is preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Worster.
She is survived by her mother, Louise Elenor Worster, and siblings, Jodi Strickle, Belinda Lantz, and Becky Almutari.
Wendy Lee Hocevar was born in Springfield Massachusetts on July 16th, 1957. Her parents were Lloyd and Louise Worster. She is survived by her mother, sisters Rebecca Al-Mutairi, Belinda Lantz, Jodi Strickle, and 10 nieces and nephews. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a bachelor's degree in Social Work and had a career serving the needs of individuals with mental health, substance abuse, and physical disabilities and challenges. She always had a cat or two and loved them as though they were children. Her interests included yoga, ball room dancing, reading, the beach and gardening.
At the time of her death she had close to 40 years of sobriety from alcoholism and she was a long term survivor of breast cancer until her passage on December 29th, 2021.
Private services will be held by the family.
