Wesley Adolphus Headley, age 82, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Sunday May 3, 2020 at 6:20 am at the Advent Health Hospital in Orlando.
Wesley was born on February 15,1938 in Betheltown, Westmoreland, Jamaica, son of the late Edward and Miriam (Wright) Headley. On June 20, 1976, he married Lucilda Kanhai. Wesley was a long-time auto repair mechanic before he retired and settled in the United States in August 2013.
Wesley was passionate about being an auto mechanic - he would take cars apart in their entirety and put them back together with everything in its right place. He loved to watch and play cricket and also found enjoyment in watching boxing matches as well as playing dominoes and card games for fun.
Wesley is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Lucilda Headley; his two sons, Cleston Headley and his wife Jossett, of Montego Bay, Jamaica, and Wayne Headley of Long Island, NY; his two daughters, Pat-Ann Gangasingh and her husband Anthony, of Orlando, FL, and Dian Johnson and her husband Everald, of Parker, CO; seven grandchildren, Xaiere Headley, Bianca Gangasingh, Alyssa Gangasingh, Everaldlee (Alex) Johnson, Ashlee Johnson, Omarilee Johnson, and Melania Headley; and four sisters, Eva Campbell of the United Kingdom, Beryl Headley of Miami, FL, Joyce Headley of Kingston, Jamaica, and Rose Headley of Betheltown, Jamaica. He also leaves behind nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Winston Headley, George Headley, George Headley, and Syrene Headley; and two sisters, Hyacinth Headley, and Evelyn Malcolm.
