Bill was born in Astoria, Queens, New York City on May 20th 1952 to loving parents Bill and Terry Bartley. Sixteen months later, he got a little brother named Anthony. Bill promptly changed his brother's name with his pronouncing it "Ah Dee Dee" . While a young boy, Bill met his first love when a friends mother began teaching him chords on a beat up acoustic guitar. His love of music encouraged him to find many diverse people to play and learn from. He developed many a good friendship with his guitar. Bill passed his enthusiasm and musical talent on to his son, Sean and his nephew Matthew.
In his teens and twenties, Bill worked in his parents luncheonette flipping burgers and making damn good egg creams. The friends he made here became lifelong friends. This was around the time he was bitten by the "Biker " bug and had hooked up with his first riding partners.
The 1980's found him working as a Production supervisor at the Rambush Decorating Co. in New York City. This is where he met the love of his life, soon to be wife, Carol.
They were married in 1990 and in 1993 they were blessed with a son they named Sean. In 2004 they left their home in New Jersey for the lure of Florida where they developed a good life for themselves.
Bill is survived by: his wife Carol, son Sean, daughter-in-law Jen, brother Dee, sister-in-law Cynthia, nephew Matthew, niece Melissa and many other loving relatives and friends to numerous to list.
