William Guzman Jr. was the son of William Guzman and Carmin Padilla. He was born on February 23rd, 1977. He passed away on January 11, 2023, after a long, virtuous battle with chronic heart failure.
He is the father of Natalie Ana, William Xavier and Elijah William Guzman.
William is better known as Pito and Pete.
If you ever considered the measure of a man, consider Pito. Pito was a mighty force. He was always ready with a laugh, hug, or a sharp reprimand when needed. He was protective, vigilant, and he loved hard.
Pito was protective of those he loved. He had your back, he was the kind of man who listened, guided and was able to put your worries at ease just by listening or sharing a wise word.
Pito loved his kids. Natalie, Bebe and Eli are mirror images of Pito's morals. Look at them, we can all proudly look at these kids and know Pito did a phenomenal job. All three of them are beautiful, hardworking and respectful young adults. Ten years ago Pito was diagnosed with heart failure and his kids worked endlessly to give him so many memories. Birthdays, graduations, trips and pressing him for, "one more day, dad.", Pito gave them just one more - year after year.
When Natalie was born Pito without compromise gave up everything he knew to give her the world. He left his life in NY to provide ample opportunities for Natalie and ventured to Florida. When the boys came along he worked equally as hard to raise them as the honorable men they stand today.
He loved the beach, watching the waves crash the shore & the soothing sounds that brought him peace. He loved music, old school rap, hip hop, r&b and salsa while he cooked which he also was absolutely amazing at. Everyone loved his rice. He loved sight seeing even if he was just on the passenger side cruising through the neighborhood he was like a kid in a candy-shop just looking out the window. He loved spending time with family and friends. He always made sure to reassure everyone he loved that he loved them through silly texts with meme's or just a random "fill up your gas tank" messages. His humor warmed our hearts. Every move he made was through the kindness of his unique heart and made with love.
