William " Bill " James Scott, 67, of Casselberry, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2016.
He was born in Anamosa, Iowa. William was a truck driver and was a United States Navy veteran. He retired from Winn Dixie, Inc. and resumed his career with AAA Cooper. William had a love for garage sales and flea markets. He loved his family and time with his grandchildren. William was a handyman who could fix anything and was always willing to help friends and family. He loved to share jokes and was always pulling your leg; he was a great storyteller.
William is survived by his wife, Christine Scott, daughters, Samantha Bowen, Marie Diaz, Autumn Hellerman and Michelle Strickland, son, William Strickland; brothers, David M. (Mary) Scott and Robert (Bobbi) Scott, sisters, Kathy (John) Tye and Debby Barnes; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
William is also predeceased by his parent James W. Scott and Sheryl Ann Rosier.
