William "Danny" Potts Sr. 57 of Orlando passed away Friday, May 18th. Born in Clarksville, TN, he moved to Central Florida in the mid 1950's. He was a member of Aloma Baptist Church in Winter Park, he loved to sing and was an avid gun collector.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Susann Potts of Orlando; sons, Kenneth M. Potts of Orlando, Steven E. Potts of Nashville, TN and William D. Potts Jr. and his wife, Shawnda and granddaughter, Brittney C. Potts of Chuluota. He is also survived by his brother, Clarence G. Potts of Kansas City, Missouri and sister, Susan Hampton of Hudson, Florida.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 PM on Monday, May 21, 2007 in the Chapel of Newcomer Family Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando. Visitation will be held from 4:30 PM until service time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to: Aloma Baptist Church Fellowship Hall Building Fund, 1815 S.R. 436, Winter Park, FL 32792.
