William J. Walters Sr. age 77 of Clermont passed away Monday, November 28, 2005.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he moved to Central Florida in 1969. He retired in 1984 from Walt Disney World and remained as a transportation consultant until 1996. He was a member of Sacred Heart Traditional Roman Catholic Church in Orlando and the Holy Name Society.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Elizabeth Walters of Clermont; son, William Walters Jr. and his wife Deborah of Cleveland, Ohio, daughter, Suzanne Lefler of Medowview, Virginia, son, Thomas Walters and his wife, Elizabeth of St. Cloud, FL, daughter, Mary Radcliffe of Vero Beach, FL, daughter Regina Ciardi of Winter Garden, FL, daughter, Doris Walters of Fern Park, FL and daughter, Elizabeth Walters and Fiancee, Earl Beebe of Royal Palm Beach, FL;
brother, Glenn Walters and his wife, Joan of North Ridgeville, Ohio; He was the grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:00 AM on Thursday, December 1, 2005 at Sacred Heart Traditional Roman Catholic Church, 1018 36th Street, Orlando with Father Louie Montelongo, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Orlando. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2005 from 6:00-9:00 PM at Newcomer Family Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Road Orlando.
