William Wesson Hooker, 87, of Orlando, FL peacefully entered into rest on Sat. June 19, 2010 to be with God Almighty. He was born to William Wesley and Rene Phillips Hooker on March 14, 1923 in Homestead. Mr. Hooker proudly served in the US Army from Sept 1944 to Apr 1946 where he was awarded the WWII Victory Medal, Good Conduct, and the European African Middle Eastern Service Medal wtih two Bronze Stars. He also was a Post Master with the US Postal Service in Citra, FL. For most of his life he took great pride in being a farmer. Mr. Hooker moved to Orlando in 2003 where he resided with his daughter Susie and her family. He is survived by: his daughters: Joan Morris, PhD, her son David Morris, Susie Michael her sons Christopher and Andrew Wulf; sons, William Hooker; his children, Tara and Paul Hooker; Phillip Hooker and his children Stephanie and Phillip Hooker. His surviving sibling is Rene McKinnon, Paul Hooker PhD and Joseph Hooker DVM. Susie and her family proudly invite you to his Memorial Service to be held on Sun June 27,2010 2:00PM at the Orlando VA Community Living Center with Chaplain Doug Weadick, BBC officiating.
