Wilma Martin:
Born: February 26, 1955
Died: May 23, 2019
She was born in Naguabo, Puerto Rico. She was raised up north in Paterson New Jersey and Gary Indiana before relocating to Orlando as an adult. She had a successful career as a real estate agent before falling Ill with cancer again in 2011. She battled with cancer from the 90s and came out of remission eight years ago. The last eight years with her were a testament of her strength. She had the upmost love and dedication to her friends and family. Her family looked at her as a pillar. She sacrificed as much of her time and energy as she could so that she could see the people in her life prosper. If you ever had a question or faced a challenge in life that you did not know how to handle, she always had an answer or solution. Although never having children of her own, she loved and cared for her nieces and nephews as if she was a second mother to all of them. She always enjoyed showing her love through cooking, whether that be making unique dishes for family occasions, baking a fresh loaf of bread for everyone to enjoy for no reason, or making breakfast as you walked out the door to go to work or school. Even before losing much of her Strength she used to help with spaying and neutering cats around the neighborhood so that she could contribute to her local community. She strived to be healed of her battle with cancer so that she could feed the homeless and do her part to make the world a better place. She saw the importance of showing people the fulfillment one could get in life when they gave from their hearts. She was an instrument in helping others by going to countries with people less fortunate than
herself, so that she could give them clothes and hope for a brighter future. Although she will be deeply missed, her beautiful qualities live on in the people that have had the fortune of knowing her in life. Wilma loved the Lord and always kept her faith even in her last moments.
When the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.
