Zachery Joseph Henry, 18 years old of Orlando Florida passed away at his home on February 21, 2013. He was born on May 24, 1994 in Louisville, KY. The Henry family moved to Orlando Florida in 1996 where Zach spent his adventurous years growing up.

Zachery, you will be deeply missed and forever loved. No matter what happened, we stuck together. We promised to love you forever and ever. There were bumps in the road; you were moving too fast, now an angel in heaven you can slow down at last. It's not easy to get over. Trust us, we know, we love you so much, we'll never let go.

We were so fortunate to have these short 18 years watching you grow.
In lieu of flowers, please either plant a Tree in his memory, or donate to a charity of your choice.

Zachery spent a lot of time volunteering at Give Kids the World (www.gktw.org).

Today is the day I wish you were here.
Yet today is the day I will not shed a tear.
Because today is the day I will not want to mourn.
For today is the day,
The day you were born.
No farewell words were spoken
No time to say goodbye
You were gone before we knew
It and only God knows why.
Our family chain is broken, and
Nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.

Bluebird
(One of Zachery's favorite poems)
there's a bluebird in my heart that
wants to get out
but I'm too tough for him,
I say, stay in there, I'm not going
to let anybody see
you.
there's a bluebird in my heart that
wants to get out
but I pour whiskey on him and inhale
cigarette smoke
and the whores and the bartenders
and the grocery clerks
never know that
he's
in there.

there's a bluebird in my heart that
wants to get out
but I'm too tough for him,
I say,
stay down, do you want to mess
me up?
you want to screw up the
works?
you want to blow my book sales in
Europe?
there's a bluebird in my heart that
wants to get out
but I'm too clever, I only let him out
at night sometimes
when everybody's asleep.
I say, I know that you're there,
so don't be
sad.
then I put him back,
but he's singing a little
in there, I haven't quite let him
die
and we sleep together like
that
with our
secret pact
and it's nice enough to
make a man
weep, but I don't
weep, do
you?
by Charles Bukowski

For Zach's friends that knew him best, I'm sure you'll agree that his parting words would probably have been, "Because 'Forget' You, that's why".

"And God will raise us from the dead by his power, just as he raised our Lord from the dead." 1 Corinthians 6:14
"Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6 – 7
"Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see." Hebrews 11:1
